Two junior software development postions
We are looking for talented graduates/junior-developers to fill two software development positions within our development team. The role itself will be varied and will give you the opportunity to work in new product development and support of existing client projects.
The right candidate will have a passion for quality software development and be able to demonstrate an ability to learn and absorb from more senior members of the team and a willingness to share knowledge with colleagues.
We aim to provide you strengthened abilities in the design and development of software systems, the writing of good quality documentation for internal and client consumption. Technologies and practices you will be exposed to in this position include:

- .NET Framework 2.0 to 3.5 (esp. ASP.NET)

Affiliate Marketing Co-ordinator
Job description – We’re looking for someone with a reasonable online marketing background to join us to become an Affiliate Marketing Co-ordinator. Whilst experience in running Affiliate programmes is not necessary (full training will be provided), an understanding of and an enthusiasm for Online Marketing principles will be what we’re looking for. Whether you are a recent graduate or already employed, the key to success in this role is to have a vibrant, engaging personality and an appreciation of what drives business.
Character - You will be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior big company executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view. Sufficiently flexible to travel up to a few days a month within the UK. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with others and be a team-player.

Job title Affiliate Marketing Manager
Job description – We’re looking for someone with a good affiliate marketing background to join us to become an Affiliate Marketing Manager. You need to have at least 2 years experience managing affiliate programmes, either directly for a merchant, at an affiliate network or within an agency environment. This should come with strong relationships with some of the UK’s leading affiliate partners as well as contacts within one or more affiliate networks. Good knowledge of eCommerce principles and online marketing channels, including paid and natural search and email marketing is a given and an understanding of online media is an advantage. You are a competent and confident communicator with a strong outgoing personality is key. Comfortable with any communication channel, from face-to-face to phone, from MSN to forums; your capability of maintaining and growing affiliate relationships will be pivotal. You will be confident presenting yourself and your ideas to clients from a number of industries to help drive strategies forward.
• Experience in managing and motivating a small team is an advantage.

Responsibilities
• Developing and supervising the affiliate marketing team – managing the day to day workload of 2 members of staff.
• Representing the company, the client and the industry positively, maintaining our excellent profile within the community as well as within Equator and our clients’ businesses.
• Managing leading affiliate programmes, growing their profitability through a variety of online partners.
• Formulating and overseeing implementation of strategies in order to meet the short and long term objectives of clients across a number of sectors.
• Managing and controlling budgets, client targets and company profitability.
• Handling personnel situations directly as required.
• Organising and attending industry events.
• Ensuring delivery of accurate and relevant reports and communications highlighting further opportunities for development.
