Never been to Austrralia? Well neither have I and I really have no intention of going. But they do have a cracking little radio station called TripleJ and this glorious little radio station have the habit of putting out some great tunes you dont get over here.
Today they’ve already played “Don’t wanna be Grant Maclennan” by Smudge and I’ve just found a whole hour radio show devoted to (the) Pixies. Is not a great exploration of the things that created (the) Pixies but at the same time is well worth a listen with Black Francis and Kim Deal (grrrrr) all chatting away.
Alongside this as they’re about twelve hours out of sync with us you get the late night show whilst at work and the breakfast show when you go home! Which is kinda weird.
