Pick those Oranges

So here I am in Limone at Lake Garda trying to steal an Orange from a tree. It really is a wonderful place to visit - check out my flickr stream to see them all.

It is a very quiet place with lots to do if you fancy a bit of sight-seeing.  Not too much nightlife although you can drink as many cocktails and Italian beers as you wish along the promenade.  I also managed to get to see Brescia’s football stadium and pay homage to Bobby Baggio, as they were the last club he played for.  Plus my hero and fellow left footed wizard, Diego Armando Maradona would have played there too!  It was surprisingly easy to get inside the stadium and onto the pitch too. 

Other delights were going up in a cable car that took us up 1800ft in about 10 minutes which was very impressive and very scary.  I am now addicted to having olive oil with every meal (along with wine) and feel the need to go back there at some point to do more exploring and pinching lemons, oranges and olives straight of the branches.
