This week we’ve been dishing out more EquatorLIVE league cups….

LES - Nightcrawler - Getting stuck into adding interesting and relevant posts to his blog late into the night
JAMES - Innovator - developed his template and crawled the web for interesting and usable widgets to put on his blog

Fifi’s blog just won a cup! Check out the blogroll - good use of outbound links to relevant, similar and appropriate sites with the promise of reciprocal links too. Way to blogosphere build!
Then Elaine smashed in with “First Youtube Post” and followed up with the 5 posts live cup!

So, what do YOU do with it? Well, you all have a blogin - the login for your blog. Style it how you like, add fun, readable and engaging content and get stuck in. Every client I’ve spoken to in the last few months wants to know about Social Media and this site is at the heart of a lot of that stuff - so make sure you play your part. It’s not tied down to the floor with heavy duty regulations but there are some play it safe rules. Be sure to read them and stick to them - they’re on the Live Launch page.
It doesn’t end there. You can create your own blog templates, drag in RSS feeds, video feeds, link to relevant content in your blogroll, see who’s whooping yo’ ass at Wii Tennis and so much more. You can assist us here in marketing to develop even more new ideas on it. After all, everything that this site is doing right now we’ve got a client interested in it. Have you got some ideas you’d like to stick in our sandbox? EquatorLIVE is at your disposal! Just think, your idea could be on there WORKING, we could be at a pitch tomorrow discussing your idea and actually show it IN ACTION on the site.
I am very enthusiastic about the potential of this site, the potential of us all blogging, the opportunities to show off our skills in a very open and fun way and I’m up for getting you ALL involved.
So, if you don’t like something, don’t moan. Just work out how to make it better then fix it. Job done. Want a new plugin for your blog? Figure it out and throw it at us? Want a better looking template? Make one! It’s just CSS and images. Want to try something completely now. Get stuck in - all enthusiasts welcome!
We’re probably the first agency out there to give everyone a blog - a PR-able item in itself (as long as you lot use it!)
Like I said, think of it as an innovations lab the world can see and you’re at the heart of it.

PS: I liked this item but the buttons are in Spanish! This is how fresh and new this stuff is. So, I’ll be changing the CSS and fixing it forthwith!

Ok, so this probably wasn’t the *best* choice of template to use - what with it being in Spanish an’ all but we have a superb team of clever creatives who are just dying to get into all this blogging lark. Looking forward to seeing some excellent creative output from the team for it all - if we get some stylish Equator WP templates then I’ll get a’usin! Go Team!
